One pet per project. Soon your desktop will be bustling with them.
A Windows desktop pet for people who run AI coding agents. One pet per project directory, so several agents running at once stay readable at a glance.
Install the plugin once and every agent event is forwarded to the pet bound to that project directory — each pet opening the agent you picked for its folder. Working, waiting on your input, finished, failed: each state is its own pose and color, and when a run ends or stalls the pet stops and flags you.
Run pdd worktree add feat/login, or type a branch into the pet's own menu: the checkout and the pet standing in it are made together. Delete that pet later and it offers to take the worktree with it.
Hatch, bind, rename, re-skin, note, and delete pets from the terminal — with the app closed, and with JSON output that pipes straight into a script. The bundled hatch, bring, and carry skills let Claude Code and Codex run it themselves, so every Orca worktree gets a pet without a single click.
With nothing to do, pets greet each other, chat, give chase, and dance — each in its own personality's voice. Take one out and toss it around, hand it a treat, pet it and get an answer back. Quiet mode settles them when you need to focus.
Drop a ball on the desktop and your pets chase it, kick it, and send it rolling. Or turn a run into a hurdle race: every tool call your agent makes drops an obstacle in the pet's lane — watch it clear them on its own, or take the controls mid-round.
Double-click a pet and it starts a session in a terminal for its folder. Or bind it to a window you already have open — click the one you mean and the pet sticks to it, your browser and your editor included. Click the pet to bring that window back to the front.
Run npx petdex install and the app finds it. Anything in your pet folder shows up during onboarding and pet selection, ready to bind.
